The ‘Future of Business’ Innovation Strategy and Learning Event to be held at the Galle Face Hotel tomorrow will feature local and international champions and ‘doers’ of innovation. Participants will get a unique insight from those driving change in sectors such as retail, advertising, tourism, insurance and apparel.
The event will feature a session on Innovation Tactics that will have two presentations by Ankur Puri, Associate Partner, McKinsey & Company and Tehani Renganathan, DGM, Strategic Transformation, MAS Holdings (Private) Limited. Ankur will provide his experience based on supporting organizations in adopting advanced analytics while Tehani will discuss on approaches to innovation from a private sector perspective. The learning event will close with a plenary on ‘Moving on and Finding the Right FIT’ which will see two presentations by Umeshi de Fonseka – Director IT /Chief Technology Officer, AIA Sri Lanka, and Nissanga Warnapura – Managing Director, Wilton Metal Box Co. (Pvt) Ltd. They will be joined Ruwanthi Fernando, Chief Information Officer, EFL Headquarters in a panel discussion moderated by Hasitha Abeywardena, Country Manager, Microsoft Sri Lanka and Maldives.
