Sri Lanka’s only Capital Market Quiz, CSE Masterminds is back for its third edition on November 5, 2019 from 4.00 pm onwards at the Waters Edge.
The event is expected to draw the interest of public and private companies, state institutions and other capital market stakeholders. Participants would be tested on their knowledge in local and global capital markets, local and international business and other areas in relation to the management of financial securities.
‘CSE Masterminds 2019’ would offer a cash prize of Rs. 200,000 for the winning team, with an additional cash prizes of Rs. 100,000 and Rs. 75,000 awarded to second and third placed teams respectively.
Sector prizes too would also be on offer for the best performing teams in a particular sector that the company represents. The 2018 edition attracted the participation of 46 teams representing a number of public and private companies with Lanka Securities emerging winner of the competition.
The Quiz would take place over seven rounds, covering topics such as global markets, international business, Sri Lankan economy and business, Sri Lankan stock market, Name the listed company, Sports and entertainment.
CSE Masterminds 2019 is supported by First Capital Holdings as the Strategic Partner, Softlogic Stock Brokers as the Stock Broking Partner, Waters Edge as the Hospitality Partner and Hameedia as the Clothing Partner. CIMA, 99X Technology, NDB Investment Bank, Expolanka Holdings, Cargills Ceylon and The London Stock Exchange Group are also supporting CSE Masterminds in the capacity of event partners.
