Kuwait – Sri Lanka Business Forum and B2B meetings on Dec 6

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka together with Sri Lanka Export Development Board, Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Sri Lankan Embassy in Kuwait are planning to conduct an online Business Forum and B2B meetings to develop trade between Sri Lanka and Kuwait on December 6, 2021 from 12.30 p.m. (Sri Lanka time) onwards.

Mohammed Jauhar, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the State of Kuwait, Mohmmad Jassem Al-Sager, Chairman of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Nandika Buddhipala, President - National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka, Suresh De Mel, Chairman and Chief Executive of Sri Lanka Export Development Board and Sanjaya Mohottala-Chairman - Board of Investment of Sri Lanka would be the key speakers of the event and there will be a presentation by the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (TBC).

The National Chamber has already signed a MoU with the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry to promote bilateral trade and investment relations between the two Countries. The Business Sectors such as Agriculture & Food Processors, Diary & Livestock, Gem & Jewellery, Ports & Shipping, Textiles & Apparels and Transport & Automobile Industries are expected to participate at the online session.

It is expected to conduct B2B meetings for interested business persons in both countries at the end of the above mentioned business forum.
