General Manager of Royal Classic Resort (PVT) Ltd Arangala Natharampotha, Kandy R. Jeyapradhap was bestowed with ‘Best General Manager of the Year ‘by USA Business World International Organization (BWIO) at their awards ceremony held at at Taj Samudra Hotel Colombo recently.
BWIO-USA Awards is a distinctive recognition for a company or an individual recognizing them as a leader in its industry category based on their current year marketing standing.Commenting on this award he said, ‘’This is a great personal achievement for me. One on the key factors that was taken in to consideration to present this award was how I handled the hotel during pandemic and lock down without compromising staff benefits and also adhering to all health protocols. I also adopted novel marketing techniques mainly from my international hotel work experience in UAE and also launched two music videos highlighting their hotel and some social issues which were the firsts for the local hotel industry.
The uniqueness of this is that all these music videos were that they were composed and directed by the hotel staff. I must also thank our Chairman, Ammaiappan Sivasubramaniam for giving me a free hand to manage the hotel. In addition, I also take this opportunity to thank my parents and family members and residents in our area Mahiaiyawa Society for their guidance.
