Lashan Silva, Founder CEO of Enhanzer won the Best Founder Award at the CSSL ICT Awards organized by the Computer Society of Sri Lanka. Held at Shangri-La Colombo, CSSL ICT Awards 2019 honoured change agents in Sri Lanka’s ICT Industry for their pursuit of excellence and innovative capabilities. Digital Infrastructure and Information Technology Minister Ajith P. Perera, presented the award to Lashan Silva at the Awards Ceremony. CSSL ICT Awards celebrate and recognize exceptional individuals for their contribution to the ICT industry in Sri Lanka.
Lashan commenced his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 22 in 2012, with a vision to play a pivotal role in ushering Sri Lanka into an era of the fourth industrial revolution (4.0). Currently, Enhanzer provides agile, centralized and efficient ERP solutions to numerous clients.
Speaking about his vision for Enhanzer and his team, Lashan Silva said, “The business world is on the brink of the fourth industrial revolution. At Enhanzer, we seek to lead the way to help Sri Lanka not only prepare for future trends, but also become an impactful presence in the ICT arena. Consistent innovation, creativity and expertise are integral ingredients of this endeavour. We in Sri Lanka, truly possess the creative genius, talent and passion to make our mark in the ICT arena globally. We simply need to encourage young talent to grow, create and tirelessly invent. In addition, we need to provide local talent with the necessary opportunities and tools to make their impact.”
Since its inception, Enhanzer has grown tenfold with its team of technophiles, researchers and software engineers led ably by Lashan. His inspiring and far-seeing leadership fuse well with his talent for coaching and mentoring. In addition to coaching his own team to reach great heights, Lashan mentors startups to pursue growth and lasting success.
Previously, Lashan’s business acumen, passion and inventive prowess won him many accolades from numerous local and global entities.
“We need to understand that the fourth industrial revolution is not just a one-time project. It is a journey that may change course with evolving needs of humanity. We too need to see the bigger picture and pay attention to details to stay ahead of the game,” added Lashan.
A graduate of the University of Moratuwa, Lashan is a voracious reader and avid traveller.
