
Dr. Dilhan Sampath Jayatilleke was unanimously appointed President again for the Humanitarian International.
Operating in Sri Lanka since 2014 and founded by Dr. Dilhan Jayatilleke, the organization over the years has carried out many projects particularly in the areas of community service, international relations and professional development.
“These included annual Medical Camp, ‘Suwa Saviya’ which takes place twice a year in Pulichchakulam in Puttlam, Wathupitiwala, Nachchaduwa – Anuradhapura and in Balagala – Wattala.”
Further Humanitarian International also conducts an ‘International Relations’ project, ‘IntEx’ (International Exchange) which was organized in 2015, 2017 and in 2019.
Under this program, foreign working professionals in the age group of 18 to 40 come to Sri Lanka and undertake a series of industrial visits and workshops during a period of 14 days. “In the last three years, 31 visitors have joined this program from India, Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal and Australia,” he said.
In addition workshops are also conducted by the organization for youth with the view of developing their professional’s skills.
These workshops are ‘Knowledge and Experience’, ‘Lead the Way’, ‘The Leader in Me’, ‘Effective Communication’, ‘Planning & Goal Setting’ and ‘Entrepreneurship’.
