SLAVO is one of the oldest associations in the maritime industry of Sri Lanka. It is also the only organization that represents the Ship owners and Principals. It is considered a prestigious association as membership is exclusive and based on nominations from Shipping Line or Principals.
This is the reason SLAVO has a limited number of members.
SLAVO’s main goal is to find the best solutions on areas concerning ship owners and Principals. Established in 1995, SLAVO is actively consulted on matters concerning the industry and holds frequent dialogues with key governmental agencies.
