Arimac would be launching Nero PC game to the Sri Lankan market soon. Arimac will take the Sri Lankan PC game development platform into the world soon, with more advanced PC, mobile phone games and the latest software applications.
The Founder and CEO of Arimac Lanka, Chamira Jayasinghe, said that Arimac will be launching Nero (third-person shooting) PC game soon in Sri Lanka.
“Arimac is an amalgamated service delivery company where we focused on enterprise web development, artificial intelligence and cognitive sciences. We do have a separate section to do gamification and game development. At present, we handle robotics and other digitalization. What we do is an integrated service delivery in terms of digital,” he said.
“We saw a large opportunity for the gaming industry in Sri Lanka. We have been in the industry for seven years; and from its inception itself, we started learning how to develop gaming. The first PC game Kanchayudha was developed by us and we wished to show the world that we are capable of developing 3D video games in Sri Lanka,” he said.
“In 2011, we initiated a bootstrap company; we were doing web designs and mobile applications. We have been doing services for the last six years and on the seventh year, we met Nimal Perera and we received the investments and presently, we are on the product, service strategy,” he said.
“Our ambitious target is to be a US$ 1 billion unicorn by 2028. We are introducing robotics technology in Sri Lanka for very the first time and we have already introduced gaming in the country. Our future plan and key priority is gaming and robotics, while we are focusing more on that,” he said.
“Globally, the gaming industry is about US$ 116 billion and the Southern Asian market is around 55 billion. We are very much focusing on that market and very soon we are targeting to expand it globally. We are targeting Asian emerging markets through non focus gaming area which has a huge potential,” he said.
“Now we are helping and we wish to help local software engineers and game developers to make money and go global through our platform. Now we have the global network and this IMI platform would be scaling 20 countries by 2023. This is one of the main products that we are undergoing. We are planning to help South Asian countries too. They could connect with us and could go global. This is our vision,” he said.
“We have created a platform where all our local games would be displayed in every airline (in-flight entertainment system) and people could play games. This would come into play in the near future,” he added.
“We have built a world-class team of experts who are at the top of their game and the very best professionals in their respective fields.”
The Chairman of Arimac Lanka, Nimal Perera said that he had decided to partner with Arimac.
He has invested Rs. 250 million in 2017 for the company, which was the largest investment for a start-up company in Sri Lanka.
“The future would be a digital industry and I could clearly see that the future is right here. The Arimac Company comprised of experts, who could achieve our targets, while we too have best professionals who would help in achieving targets and help the companies’ growth. We wish to expand and to get more investors. Our main idea is to go global,” he said.
Unlike most third-person shooters, the Nero PC game isn’t running about and gunning. Well aimed shots would cuts through the air and pierce the flesh of your foe. The visceral satisfaction you get by watching your cinematic take-downs is unlikely to ever wear off, Sniper: Nero is the only multi-platform, third-person, modern shooter exclusively designed around the sniper experience. It takes the bulls-eye precision of its predecessor to new and exciting heights, offering more diverse sniper challenges; a thrilling “one shot, one kill” precision that would make the original a big hit.
Taking advantage of the advanced capabilities of the Arimac team of experts, Nero also delivers striking graphic environments and cinematic experience that would attract game lovers. This new game contains much better graphics resolution too.
Furthermore, Arimac has launched Kanchayudha PC a game few years back in Sri Lanka, with its first-ever 3D Video game that became a nationwide hit.
