HUAWEI, the largest telecom infrastructure maker in the world recently launched the sequel to its celebrated Y series. Huawei Y series 2019 was launched in Sri Lanka at an event held in Hilton, Colombo.
The series includes HUAWEI Y9 2019, HUAWEI Y7 Pro 2019 and HUAWEI Y6 Pro 2019 devices. The company has encapsulated the series with the key words of “New Generation Dew Drop Display, Stylish Design with trendy colors and AI Camera”.
The device sports a Face unlock, which is fast and secure, even under low lights. The facial recognition ensures high level security to guard against photo and video intrusion. AI scene recognition, equipped to automatically study 22 labels and 500 plus scenes real time and wide aperture optimizes all the devices and helps anyone become a photographic star.

He further added, “The new introduction prides itself in Dewdrop FullviewDisplay, Face unlock, AI scene recognition, Wide aperture, Super and large battery capacity”.
Huawei Y9 2019, has presented itself as the champion of the series with a 6.5 Inch screen, which is the largest full view screen on this range, the high resolution of FHD+ (2340*1080) and the customizable notch system which cannot be adjusted in any competitor devices in the market in this range. The device is available in trendy colors of Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue.
Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 is the next feature filled highlight of the series with the “First Dewdrop Display with 4000mAh Battery” and 6.26 Inch Dewdrop Fullview display and a better resolution of HD+ (1520*720) which proves itself unbeatable among the other devices in the same range. The device is available for Sri Lankan customers in the colors of Aurora Blue, Coral Red and Midnight Black. The 3 AI camera of the device is complemented with a rear camera of 13MP +2MP, the front AI camera of 16MP, Self-toning flash 2.0, and Largest Aperture F/1.8 coupled with AR photography. The performance of the device is further complemented with the 4000mAh battery, AI Power Management, Face Unlock, EMUI 8.2 and Hand Gesture Control.
Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 is “First Dewdrop Display with Leather finishing design” 6.09 Inch Dewdrop FullView display and the Better resolution of HD+ (1520*720) is exciting news for smartphone fans of the same range. Y6 Pro’s Amber Brown and the Midnight Black shade choices has further set the device apart from the designs in the market. Curved design and texture leather finishing design has further strengthened the youthful and unique design. The performance of the device is amplified with EMUI 9.0 and the Android 9 Pie and features such as Low light face unlock, Huawei Super Sound and 3000mAh battery with AI Power Management.

Recently HUAWEI overtook its competitor to be the number two smartphone brand in the world according to IDC last week. In Sri Lanka, HUAWEI has succeeded in securing the number one position in smartphone sales according to recent GfK reports.
