LCB Finance Ltd., will celebrate their first anniversary at the Head office premises at S. de. S. Jayasinghe Mawatha, Kohuwela, Nugegoda, where their corporate branch is also located today (June 25).
The celebration commences in the morning with the offering of “Heel Dhana’ to the Maha Sangha and chanting of “Seth Perith,” with the participation of their valued customers and Board of Directors.
CEO/Executive Director, K. G. Leelananda stated that the Company’s Journey towards success commenced from the Southern Province Galle Branch in 2016, having registered themselves as “Lanka Credit and Business Ltd.”
“With its steady growth, we were able to acquire the business of “City Finance Corporation Ltd.” in 2018 and rebranded ourselves as Lanka Credit & Business Finance Ltd., during the same year. These activities were conducted under the guidance and approval of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.”
“We have also expanded our branch network from Galle centered branch to reach seven branches covering Kohuwela, Ratgama, Karandeniya, Mirissa, Karapitiya and Pelawatta and have provided employment opportunities to 106.”
As at March 31, 2019, the company has reached an asset base of Rs 2,675 million, a share capital of Rs 3,091 million and recorded a Pre Tax profit amounting to Rs 274 million.
“This year too we are looking forward at having our shares listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange, enhance our technology capabilities and serve the existing and prospective customers through an increased network of branches,” he added.
