The Cultural Centre of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Colombo had organized a Meelad un Nabi Celebration and Holy Quran Competition Awards Ceremony, which were held at the Cultural Center recently. It was held under the patronage of Cultural Counsellor Dr. B. Moazami Goodarzi.
Chief Guest Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Sri Lanka Hashem Ashjazadeh, Guest of Honour Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs Department Director Ibrahim Ansar and Cultural Counsellor Dr. B. Moazami Goodarzi distributed awards and certificates to the winners of the competition.
Chief of Economic and Consular Section, Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran K. Soheil, embassy officials and prize winners with their parents were also present.
