Lanka Hospitals, the internationally-accredited multiple award-winning healthcare provider has successfully delivered over 1,400 IVF babies since the inception of its Fertility Centre in 2007.
Lanka Hospitals’ Fertility Centre announced that it had reached a new milestone with the completion of the delivery of the 1,400th IVF baby. In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) is a treatment method available to assist couples who experience fertility problems to conceive a baby.
Another advanced procedure that improves the chances of conceiving a healthy baby through IVF is Pre- implantation Genetic Testing (PGT), a cutting-edge procedure available to identify genetic abnormalities in embryos. Lanka Hospitals’ Fertility Centre offers two types of genetic tests during IVF treatment. They are referred to as pre-implantation genetic testing for aneuploidies (PGT-A) and pre-implantation genetic testing for monogenic disorders (PGT-M).
“Our success rates have shown that the chances of conceiving a child through IVF and ICSI treatment are very high.
