Accordingly, the Sri Lankan rupee recorded a marginal appreciation of 0.6 % against the US dollar during the month.
During the year up to September 10, 2021, the rupee recorded a depreciation of 6.8 % against the US dollar.
Meanwhile, reflecting cross-currency movements, the Sri Lankan rupee depreciated against the euro, the pound sterling, the Japanese yen, the Australian dollar and the Indian rupee during the year up to 10 September 2021.
