Bitulink Emulsion bags two CNCI Achievers Awards

Bitulink Emulsion Private Limited, the leading bulk supplier of bitumen in Sri Lanka, reaffirmed its significance at CNCI Achiever Awards 2020 by receiving two awards. The event organized by the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries was held at Hotel Galadari, Colombo with Wimal Weerawansa, Minister of Industries gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Contesting under the manufacturing sector, the extra-large category the company won the National Merit award and Provincial Silver award respectively.

Commenting on the achievement, Mahesh Wijeratne, the Chairman/Managing Director, Bitulink Emulsion stated ‘’This is a remarkable milestone in our history and must emphasize that being a truly Sri Lankan company we are dedicated to enhancing the quality of bitumen products used in road constructions as well as industrial and civil.’’

The company has a massive production capacity of decanted bitumen and bitumen emulsion a day having acquired the latest high-tech production equipment from the UK and technical know-how from the USA, UK, Sweden and Spain.

Bitulink Emulsion’s main factory located at Epaladeniya, Giriulla is an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified facility, with a storage capacity exceeding the requirement.

The company’s transport service manned by fully trained drivers and equipped with all required specialized vehicles from browsers to bitumen sprayers.
