Sri Lanka Insurance (SLI) in support of the Government initiative to prevent the spreading of Covid 19 virus has launched a series of initiatives to provide a safe continuous service to its customers.
If customers are unable to renew their motor insurance policies, policy holders who contact SLIC offices will be granted an extended temporary cover for 2 weeks.
SLIC also like to emphasis that SLIC health and life policies also cover Daily Hospitalization Cash Benefit, Hospitalization Bill Settlement (Cashless and Reimbursement options), Critical Illness Cover, loss of lives due to Covid 19 related issues. Further all SLIC corporate health insurance policy holders are also covered for hospitalization expenses incurred due to COVID 19 infection.
Keeping in line an array of payment channels are available for the policy holders to renew their insurance policies and to make premium payments. Online payment gateway – www.srilankainsurance.net, SLIC mobile App available on Apple Store and Google playstore, Mobile Payment Facilities - Genie/FriMi/mCash/eZycash, Direct bank payments facilities through leading banks.
Government at present is taking all necessary measures to prevent the Covid-19 virus and is providing best care for patients in several hospitals free of charge and as a socially responsible state organization Sri Lanka Insurance re-emphasize the importance of staying safe according to the government and WHO safety guidelines of Covid 19 virus.
The PCR testing for Covid 19 has facilitated at government hospitals. Sri Lanka Insurance requests the general public to adhere to the health guidelines provided by relevant authorities to support initiatives in preventing spreading of Covid 19.
