Uber recently released ‘How Sri Lanka Moved in 2019’, A Year in Review, which reveals Sri Lanka’s Uber usage patterns, most visited destinations as well as preferred dates and time to use.
Backed by rider insights and captivating data, the report shares insights on the increasing importance of ridesharing within the country and efforts to create sustainable cities for the future.
Uber Zip is the most popular mode of service in Sri Lanka, followed by cost-effective options UberMoto and UberTuk. One Galle Face, Kottawa Town, and Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre have been the top 3 locations within Sri Lanka on the Uber app.
The highest percentage of Uber trips happened between 5 pm and 7 pm. For Sri Lanka, registered Uber users traveling overseas, Doha, Chennai, and Melbourne reported the most rides.
