Hemas FMCG donated a large quantity of personal care items to the Sri Lanka Army recently.
Over 10,000 assorted bars of Shield soap, and other personal care products including Clogard toothpaste, Clogard smart toothbrushes and Kumarika shampoo were donated to the Sri Lanka Army towards the comfort of the individuals in the Quarantine centers located across the country.
The items were handed over by the Hemas FMCG activation team to the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva who also heads the National Operational Center for Prevention of COVID -19.
“In crises such as this, companies have a big role to play. Our country’s success in tackling the coronavirus effectively is also heavily dependent on the actions that organisations take and it is our responsibility to help authorities battle the coronavirus pandemic. We are immensely grateful to Sri Lanka Army and the Armed Forces in ensuring the quarantine centers have all the required facilities for the well-being of individuals who are being monitored.
