Palmyrah Development Board took a historic step forward in promoting local products globally by opening new sales showroom in France and also appointing new distributors in France.
State Minister Plantation Arundika Fernando, and Chairman of Palmyrah Development Board Krishantha Pathiraja and other officials currently visiting France opened this showroom and was engaged in several other sales promotion activities in promoting coconut, palmyrah and Kithul products.
The Sri Lankan team visited the first show opened in partnership with Guayapi Show Room in France and discussed promoting products through their showroom to the France and EU market with the owner of Guayapi M. Cloudy.
She also appreciated Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s vision to specially introduce bio-friendly compost and bio fertilizers to Sri Lanka and said she was keen to market organic food produced in this manner in France as there is a huge market for them.
