S-lon, most loved ‘Building Materials Brand’ for 2020/21

One of Sri Lanka’s pioneering water management solutions providers, Capital Maharaja-owned S-lon Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, has made the list of Most Loved Brands in Sri Lanka for the year of 2021 under the Construction/Building Materials category. The Research is carried out on an annual basis, by Brands Finance & presented by leading business Magazine in Sri Lanka, LMD.

Group Director of Capital Maharaja Group, S. C. Weerasekara noted: “We are honored to have been recognized as the Most Loved brand in our industrial category. Accolades such as these solidify the love & loyalty extended to S-lon by three generations of Sri Lankans. We only give our customers the best – whether it’s a product or service.”

“To give back to society, we have initiated several CSR initiatives such as the recent Thuru Kepakaru tree plantation project, Gamai Pansalai for empowering places of worship & Diyasara Student Circle for improving awareness towards environmental conservation among youth. S-lon also frequently supports fulfilling water supply requirements in rural villages,” he added.

Launched 63 years ago as the country’s first thermoplastic pipe manufacturer, S-lon today has expanded its product portfolio to include a comprehensive range of pipes and fittings, rainwater disposable systems, sewage pipes & fittings, hot water piping system, ball valves, water taps and water pumps. S-lon has progressed a step further to provide solvent cement, garden mesh, chrome plated faucets & accessories and roofing sheets too.
