The new building of the Samurdhi Community Bank in Atalugampura Dehiowita was opened last week. Samurdhi Sipdora Childrens Scholarships scheme, providing documents for recipients of the Samurdhi Housing Programs also took place during this opening. Governor of Sabaragamuwa Province Tikiri Kobbekaduwa, State Minister, Company Estate Reforms, Tea Estates related Crops, Tea Factories Modernization and Tea Export Promotion Kanaka Herath, State Minister of Samurdhi, Household Economy, Micro Finance, Self-Employment, Business Development,Shehan Semasinghe and several other Samurdhi Department officials also participated.
