Women Empowered Global (WEG) dedicated to empowering women through education, leadership, career and entrepreneurial programs will host an online webinar for female entrepreneurs during the troubled times on their Global Online Academy class on Friday 17, at 7 p.m. (IST).
This live online master class will focus on “Time Management; and Planning Ahead in a Time of Crisis”, a focused online business session for Small Businesses.
The webinar will feature internationally acclaimed entrepreneur and speaker Isabelle Gellé and will cover practical concepts and solutions such as how to prioritize your tasks when you work alone or with a limited staff; and what you can do to prepare yourself for the new world following a crisis.
Speaking on the decision to host such an event Chief Executive Officer of WEG Senela Jayasuriya noted, “Sri Lanka like most other nations is looking for ways to come to terms with the impact of Covid-19 on our social life as well the broader economy. Out of nowhere the world has become a much smaller place and small businesses have to innovate to stay afloat. The small and medium sector enterprises are specifically relevant within the Sri Lankan economy as they represent 59% of our workforce. Therefore it is imperative that we find solutions that will help us to overcome this dark period in our history”.
The online master class also includes an interactive Q&A, where on-the-spot advice and guidance will also be provided for mumpreneurs and women. Isabelle Gellé, is a hands-on entrepreneur with international work experience in many different countries. Her passion for business and the Art of Perfumery led her to set up her own companies ‘Les Parfumsd’Isabelle’ and ‘The Perfumery Art School UK’.
