
The Gold Award winner Inamullah Moulana Fathima Zaireen, a student of the Mahmood Ladies College, Kalmunai in the Ampara district was awarded cash prize Rs.50,000 by the Amana Bank PLC in recognition with the international achievement.
This ceremony was held at the Kalmunai Mahmood Ladies College, with the participation of Amana Bank PLC officials.
Inamullah Moulana Fathima Zaireen, a student of the Mahmood Ladies College, Kalmunai in the Ampara district has won the Gold medal at an International Science Technology and Engineering Competition (ISTEC) conducted by Bandung Creative Society (BCS) and Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA) at the Java University in Indonesia recently.
Fathima Zaireen represented Sri Lanka at the contest in the final round competition at which students from 24 countries participated. She has won the first place and awarded.
At the ceremony, the Bank’s Head of Deposit Mobilization Arshad Jamaldeen stated that Amana Bank PLC is proud in honouring the International Winner. He further said that encouragement of this nature would boost the young learners throughout the Island.
