Hospitality industry veteran Lal Dissanayake has re-joined Mandara Group of Hotels as Chief Executive Officer from Jan 2020.
Dissanayake joins Mandara Hotels with extensive industry experience and a track record of success in selling services to global clients across hospitality markets. Dissanayake also has over 10 years of overseas working experience in various roles in international 5-star chain hotels in Germany, Australia, Dubai and North Yemen.
Dissanayake has also participated in various travel fairs around the world, such as ITB, WTM, ATM, IITM and MAATA.
Prior to re-joining Mandara Group of Hotels in Jan 2020, he served as General Manager of Goldi Sands Hotel in Negombo for over 12 years. He previously held the position of President of Negombo Hoteliers Association where he was actively involved for a long time and also the President of Deep South Hoteliers Association.
