Business Today recognised the TOP 30 best performing corporates in Sri Lanka for 2018 - 2019, an year in which resilience, innovation and search for new markets played a vastly important role.
In the 22nd year of the awards, Hatton National Bank reclaimed Number One Ranking in the Business Today TOP 30 after 22 years, while the Commercial Bank of Ceylon was ranked at Number Two. Fortified by timely investments and long term vision, LOLC Holdings rose to Number Three. Being resilient within a challenge operating environment, John Keells Holdings was ranked at Number Four, while Sampath Bank was Number Five.
An efficient new corporate structure propelled Ceylinco Insurance to Number six, while Melstacorp was at Number Seven. Dialog Axiata performed well within a challenging operational environment to be ranked Number Eight, while a strong financial performance pushed National Development Bank to Number Nine.
