CMA Sri Lanka speech craft programme producing competent speakers and leaders

 

The CMA Sri Lanka Toastmasters Club conducted their third speech craft program sponsored by the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. (CMA).

Twenty five members, passed finalists and final year students attended the program over a period of 10 weeks. The speech craft program enabled budding CMA Management Accountants with communication and leadership skills..

Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala together with Council Members of CMA are committed to enrich and enhance the knowledge and soft skill development of its members, passed finalists and final year students enabling them to develop their leadership skills and achieve career progression in the corporate world.

This program created tremendous interest to the participants who successfully engaged in the ten weeks program with much enthusiasm.

The Final Award Ceremony was successfully concluded at the CMA Auditorium on Wednesday, 30th November 2016. The Chief Guest Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala expressed his congratulations to the participants for their excellent presentations, good communicational and leadership skills.

The certificates were presented by Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala and Council Member, Hennayake Bandara, CEO, Kosala Dissanayake and Consultant M. Wattegedara.CMA Sri Lanka Toastmasters Club President Achala Perera and the Club members were present.

The Awards Ceremony was conducted by the Course Director Toast Master, Dian Abeyewardene. The Speech craft Program was co-ordinate by Shanthi Maheswaran, Senior Manager – Member Services.

The next batch of the speech craft program will commence shortly for members, passed finalists and final year students of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants following the footsteps of the successful batches of participants.
