To commemorate President Gotabaya Rajapaksa completing one year in office the National Housing Authority launched several initiatives. A foundation stone was laid to build 100 unit Housing Projects in Maradagahamulla, Divulapitiya, Maradagahamulla. It was initiated by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa. During the event, the Sevena Special Lottery too was introduced to the market. In addition to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, Ministers Prasanna Ranatunga, Indika Anuruddha and Members of Parliament Harshani Gunawardena, Milan Jayatilake, Sahan Pradeep Vithanage, Nalin Fernando, Upul Rajapaksa, and Chairman, National Lottery Board, Lalith Pium Perera, Director D. D. Jayasiri, Chairman of National Housing Development Authority Renuka Dushyantha Perera were present at the occasion.
