CNCI seminar on Imports/Exports documentation & Changes to Procedures

Breaking a silent spell of nearly five months where the circumstances did not permit to have gatherings for face to face meetings/dialogue, the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI), the pioneering industry chamber in Sri Lanka has decided to have a comprehensive full day Seminar on “Imports & Exports Documentation and Changes to Procedures”.

This important Seminar has been scheduled to be held on August 18, 2020 from 9 am to 3.30 pm at Hotel Taj Samudra, Colombo 03. CNCI in consultation with Taj Samudra Hotel will take necessary measures to implement Health Guidelines introduced by the Health Authorities.

We have arranged this seminar after studying the gaps as well as considering the requests we received from some of our member companies. The seminar is ideal and appropriate for managers of all levels & streams, executives dealing with imports and exports and academics. It is our expectation and pleasure for you to have this opportunity to update and enhance your knowledge in order to serve your institution and both internal & external customers confidently with better knowledge and understanding.

The areas expected to be covered at the seminar include an overview of imports/exports, the procedures and documentations and bonding procedure.

Sudaththa Silva, Deputy Director of Customs, D A T R Warnakulasooriya, Superintendent of Customs Charitha Perera, Assistant Superintendent of Customs will serve as the resource persons for this seminar with their grand expertise and decades of experience in the field by sharing their experiences of ground realities and clearing any doubts and queries.
