United Kingdom’s Global Banking & Finance Magazine which follows global financial growth trends has selected and rewarded SANASA Life Insurance Company Limited as the Best Employee Benefit Provider in Sri Lanka for the year 2020.
Global Banking and Finance Review is a finance magazine based in the United Kingdom. It was launched in 2010. The magazine focuses on global financial trends and developments. The Global Banking & Finance Awards was started in 2011 to recognize and honor inspirational changes happening in the global financing community. They reflect the innovation, achievement, strategy, progressive and inspirational changes taking place within the financial sector.
Several Sri Lankan banks, top companies in the finance field and professionals have been awarded by UK’s Global Banking & Finance Magazine.
SANASA Life was earlier recognized and awarded as the Best Micro Insurance Company in Sri Lanka at the 2019 Global Banking & Finance awards. SANASA Life Insurance Company first commenced its activities in October 1991 with the formation of the All Lanka Mutual Assurance Organization to provide rural folk with Non accidental cover. The program which commenced under the name ALMAO implemented by charging Rs 5-20 monthly, set the stage to create the huge Insurance facility SANASA Life Insurance Company which commenced General insurance activities in 2005 and life insurance activities in 2013.
