“The Australian Government is keen to support SLTDA with the development of the COVID-19 preparedness training module and resource kit for small business. This is part of a larger package of support provided to Sri Lanka in response to the global pandemic,” said Australian High Commissioner David Holly.
“Australia has been a strong partner in supporting Sri Lanka’s tourism industry since 2017 through S4IG (tourism skills) and MDF (tourism business development) and we have also provided technical and advisory support.”
“The importance of Small and Medium Enterprises to the country’s economy and our interest in supporting small regional businesses to remain silent through the pandemic and to bounce back faster,” he said.
