Puttalam Toastmasters Club will host an online event on March 27, 6 pm onwards to update the skills of Toastmasters in the area.
Puttalam Toastmasters Club was chartered in 2019 April, by the help of District 82 Club Growth Director, Toastmaster (DTM) Noorul Munawwara, Division H Director, DTM Lawrance Madapatha, and Club Sponsor Lunuwila Toastmasters Club. The club was formed with 20 members and the charter executive committee consisted of Engineers from Lakvijaya Power Plant.
“We want more professionals to join us and this event would ideal opportunity for it,” a member from the Club said. Toastmasters is a wonderful place to develop communication and leadership skills while getting the opportunity to share intriguing personal stories with each other. Puttalam toastmaster club has uniquely talented club members.
“The club environment encourages to display member talents, get to know their strengths, weaknesses and also use every opportunity to improve their skills as they overcome their barriers in public speaking.”
