Though the restaurant industry is almost at a standstill, in order to assist its customers access to food, delivered to their homes, Harpo’s Pizza Kotte and Commons Coffee House has initiated a limited menu through the Hot wheels delivery service.
Taking in to consideration the safety of the staff supporting this initiative and ensuring that they follow proper hygiene systems the Hot wheels delivery riders will be delivering a limited choice of Harpo’s Pizzas, fresh Pasta dishes and the famous Commons Kotturotti and Mongolian and other rice specials within the Colombo city limits and the suburbs from 11am – 6pm . As much as all arrangements are made to ensure the service is available daily, customers are encouraged to check for updates on social media for any revision on the delivery dates and times.
“We are making this possible, even during these challenging times with indefinite curfew and social distancing, in order to service our many faithful and new customers during this time of need,” said Managing Director, Harpo Goonertne.
At the same time as President of the Colombo City Restaurants Collective (CCRC) Harpo is also calling for urgent relief and assistance from the authorities, before decision is made its safe to start operations. CCRC represents restaurateurs who are deeply concerned of their operations, their staff and sustaining their business in the future. Any support from the Government during this difficult stage will be of immense help to overcome the present situation.
