Sheraton the 300 plus room luxury hotel is set to open in 2020 February in Colombo 3, making it the first major global brand to debut in after the new government took office.
The hotel on 25 floors will have 241 rooms and 79 suites while on the banquets area Sheraton will offer 8 meeting rooms, 7,728 sq ft of total meeting space.
The total investment for the hotel is in the excess of USD 80 million and will employ over 650. Training for the staff is now in process.
