A congregation comprising of 20 press and media personnel, representing 20 reputed French and Belgian media enterprises, arrived in Sri Lanka on January 18, 2020 on a familiarization tour of the island.
The tour is an initiative of Chandra Wickramasinghe, the Chairman and Managing Director of Connaissance de Ceylan and Theme Resorts & Spas, in collaboration with Michel Salaun, the Chairman and Proprietor of Salaun Holidays, a leading tour operator in France.
An effort to bring back Sri Lanka in the limelight of tourism, the value of the media coverage brought by this exercise is immeasurable.
