Trincomalee port, the second best natural harbour in the world is to be developed on Public Private Partnership model (PPP), Development Strategies and International Trade Minister Malik Samarawickrema said.
The Sri Lankan government is currently in talks with India, Japan and Singapore to develop it as a major port, the Minister said.
The Minister further added that the government is starting on a new journey and planning on accelerating economic projects. (IH)
