The government has appointed Aruna Siriwardane as the joint managing director to Sri Lanka Insurance. He replaces Keith Bernard who resigned due to personal reasons.
Siriwardane was one of the key figures in Sri Lanka’s first mobile company Celltel Lanka Limited.
He will function with T. M. R. Bangsa Jayah, a retired Police Officer.Hemaka Amarasuriya appointed Chairman in 2015 remains in the post. (SS)
