The newly constructed City Complex will immensely help to bring new investments to swell the country’s economy to a greater extent in the years to come and help to provide new employment avenues to youth in numerous fields, especially in the field of technology, said Justice Minister Ali Sabry, PC during his recent official visit to the Port City Colombo to inspect the progress of the current development activities.
Minister Sabry commended Project Management for the construction progress made on bridges, waterways, and central parks, despite the country’s current pandemic situation.
Minister Sabry also said the Colombo Port City project will accelerate the country’s development projects and wish to implement necessary laws and regulations for future developments.
Justice Minister Ali Sabry yesterday declared that the Port City Colombo was the most anticipated multi-faceted development project and it will also provide a host of world-renowned entertaining facilities for locals as well as tourists.
China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) Ltd. Managing Director Yung Lu, Strategy and Business Development Head Thulci Aluwihare, Country Manager – Sales and Investor Relations Randhika Ellepola and Estate Management Assistant Manager Chathura Cabraal also participated during the inspection tour.
