Colombo bourse gathered further steam yesterday whilst the turnover stood just above Rs. 3.5 bn mark. The All Share Price Index increased by 100.0 points (+1.1%) to close at 9,542.3 whilst S&P SL20 Index closed the day flat at 3,540.2.
Commercial Leasing & Finance, Browns Investments, Royal Ceramics, LOLC Finance and Vallibel One remained as the top negative contributors to the ASPI during the day. Further, broader market’s total turnover stood at Rs.3,620.0 mn against the 12-month average daily turnover of Rs.4,036.5 mn, whilst the volume traded for the day was 228,354.9k against the 12-month average daily volume of 215,985.3k.
