The Development Lotteries Board (DLB), which has revolutionized the lottery industry with new technological changes has now opened another avenue for the benefit of the customers from December 15, facilitating them to purchase their lottery ticket by Mobile through an SMS or USSD.
Customers, who already use Mobitel and Dialog connections, are facilitated to purchase their lottery using their mobile phone and this facility is to be extended to all other connections also in due course.
“If you intend to purchase your lottery ticket through a telephone call (USSD), you should dial #611# and then you will have four options. If you wish to purchase your lottery tickets daily the number relevant to the extension ‘subscribe’ should be selected,” an DLB said.
“Then you should enter the number reserved for the lottery, which is your selection, out of Lagna Wasana, Super Ball, Shnida, and Sasiri, for which the DLB has made facility at present for purchasing under this method.
At the next step, you should enter the letter and four digits with a comma for each digit, which should be included on the lottery you purchase on your preference. You can purchase the lottery with the four digits, you select on your preference if it is available in the SMS pool.
At the instances where you need to unsubscribe a lottery ticket, you may dial #611# and include the number relevant to “on Demand” to select the lottery ticket. Then you will have the opportunity to suspend the purchase of the lottery as your wish.
To get the information on the super jackpot of Lagna Wasana, Super Ball, Shanida lotteries you may enter the number (4) relevant to the extension for Jackpot.
You may purchase lottery tickets on your preference sending an SMS whenever you expect to purchase lottery tickets through SMS.
To purchase lottery tickets on demand at any time without purchasing them daily, send an SMS to 611 with the inclusion of letter ‘O’ immediately before the sign of the lottery.
Users have the facility to receive prizes either through Mcash or Ecash. Winners will have to visit the Head Office of DLB to collect the prizes over Rs. 20,000.”
