APIIT Sri Lanka’s partner, Staffordshire University shortlisted for ‘University of the Year’

APIIT Sri Lanka, established in 1999, has had a longstanding partnership with Staffordshire University, UK.

With its global recognition and commitment to excelling in the sphere of education, Staffordshire University has been shortlisted in the prestigious ‘University of the Year’ category at the Times Higher Education Awards 2020.

Over the years, the award-winning University which has been recognised for its far-reaching goals, which are in sync with global requirements have validated Computing, Business and Law awards for delivery at APIIT Sri Lanka.

The virtual ceremony, which will take place on 26 November 2020, will focus solely on the achievements of higher education institutions in 2019/20 – a year in which Staffordshire University secured its Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) Gold rating and climbed to its highest ever position in UK league tables. Ranked 37th out of 121 universities in the UK in the Guardian League Tables 2020, the University has been awarded Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework by the British government in recent years.
