The 13th Annual General Convocation of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) has been slated for September 16 and 17 at the Convocation Hall, South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, Oluvil.
The Registrar of University H.Abdul Sathar has released the news to the effect. The awarding of the degree certificates will be held as follows, Graduates of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Faculty of Engineering will be awarded their degrees during the morning session on September 16. During the afternoon session of the same day, student of the Faculty of Arts and Culture will receive their degrees.
The graduation of the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language will take place at 9 am on September 17, and the graduates of Faculty of management and Commerce will obtain their degrees during the afternoon session.
Nine hundred and eighty eight graduates from the five faculties will receive their bachelor degrees. Twenty- two postgraduate students will be awarded the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA). Three postgraduate students will receive the Master of Arts degree.
Prof. M.A.Careem, Emeritus Professor of Peradeniya University and M.I.M.Ameen, retired senior lecturer of the same University will receive honorary doctorates.
