A branch of the Colombo International Sea Port dock yard was declared opened at the Hambantota International Sea Port by Chairman of the Colombo Dock Yard H.Tanalka, accompanied by Managing Director, D. D. Abeysinha, at the office of the ten storied Administration Complex of the Hambantota International Sea Port.
D. D. Abeysinha said that four hundred job avenues would be created as a result of the opening of the dock yard branch at the Hambanota International Sea Port.
He said a training center would also be set up to train jobless educated youth in the Hambantota District.
The Chief CEO of the Hambantota International Sea Port RAY REN was also present at the occasion.
