The Sea Master Group of Companies Sri Lanka in association with Benelux Freight and Logistics LLC Dubai, launched their new UPB personal baggage service from UAE to Sri Lanka at their office and warehouse at Al Qusais, Dubai recently.
The Ambassador designate of Sri Lanka to the United Arab Emirates Majintha Jayesinghe, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The Joint Managing Directors for Apey Cargo Dubai Taarik Booso and Brijesh T.C., stated that they plan to cover the entire UAE and would expand their services in the entire Middle East during the next couple of years.
CEO Anuruddha Withanarachchi and General Manager Asela Upashantha, were also present at the occasion along with Benelux Freight and Logistics LLC General Manager K. M. Shaheed, invitees and the Apey cargo staff in Dubai.
Sea Master Group is one of Sri Lanka’s leading private sector organizations and the Group consists of several subsidiary companies engaged in diverse fields of activity that includes Shipping and Logistics, Trading and Representation, Travels and Tourism, Warehousing and Container Terminals and Food distributions.
The latest addition to the group is Apey Cargo Unaccompanied personal baggage (UPB Service) from UAE.
The individual companies in the group are managed by the Group Managing Director Taarik Booso and Group Chief Executive Officer Anuruddha Withanarachchi, with a General Manager responsible for each individual company for coordination.
In its quest for expansion and diversification, the Group seeks to embark on joint ventures or projects with overseas parties in Education, Power and Energy, Infrastructure Development and Utilities.
