Lanka Hospitals, was awarded ‘Best HR Company’ at the recent Sri Lanka HR Leadership Awards 2019.
The Sri Lanka HR Leadership Awards gives recognition to the achievements of selected high profile organizations in Asia and honour their contributions towards the country. The awards also honours organizations that apply the best management modules to support its functions and processes.
“Lanka Hospitals’ organizational achievements would not be possible without the correct implementation of the best practices in healthcare, and the support of a dedicated HR team to steer the hospital towards its organizational goals. Therefore I am proud of our team and their efforts that have contributed to winning this award,” Lanka Hospitals’ Group Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Prasad Medawatte stated.
Lanka Hospitals is the first hospital in Sri Lanka to be awarded some of the most prestigious accreditations in the world for its healthcare service standards including the 6th edition of the Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation since 2014, and the world-respected Medical Tourism Certification from the Medical Travel Quality Alliance (MTQUA).
Furthermore, Lanka Hospitals Diagnostics (LHD) is the only Sri Lankan Laboratory to be accredited by the prestigious laboratory accreditation body, the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
