CCC expands to Tajikistan to strengthen trade, investment

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan during the “Sri Lanka - Tajikistan Business Forum”, held at the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo.

DharaWijayatilake, Chief Executive Officer of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and Nematullo Hikmatullozoda, Minister of Economic Development and Trade in Tajikistan signed the MOU on behalf of the respective parties, in the presence of President Emomali Rahmon.

In the Memorandum of Understanding both parties agreed that coordinated efforts be made to promote business opportunities, joint ventures, initiate partnerships and arrange visits of business delegations.

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce have already signed 127 Memoranda of Understanding to expand and further strengthen strong relationships with overseas trade promotion organizations for the benefit of business community in Sri Lanka.
