Amana Bank reintroduces ‘Children’s Savings Gift Fiesta’

Amãna Bank has once again introduced its highly rewarding Children’s Savings Grow Your Balance Gift Fiesta for the year 2020.

The promotion commenced from January 11 and ends on December 31, is held under the theme ‘Grow it as they grow’ attractive gifts will be rewarded based on new funds deposited to the account during the promotion period.

Amãna Bank Children’s Savings Account’s gifts promotion has been a significant promotion in the market for past several years. This promotion provides not only higher returns but also rewards children at progressive milestones for accumulating their savings during the promotion period. While this contributes to building a savings habit amongst the children, it also provides the parents an opportunity to build a fund for their children that would be available when the child is 18 years old.

Children have over nine gift options to choose from, with a single child having the opportunity to walk away with four different gift items in total. In order to obtain the gifts there should be an active standing order in place to the children’s savings account. Further, the Bank is also availing special gift items such as Bikes, Book Vouchers, Tabs, Hoover Board and Watches for one-off deposits. Commenting on the promotion the Bank’s Head of Deposit Mobilization Arshad Jamaldeen said “Amãna Bank has always been in the forefront of fostering the habit of savings among children, especially through our Grow Your Balance Children’s Savings proposition. The gift items on offer will not only be enjoyable but also educational as it encourages skill development.”

Amãna Bank’s focus on children is not only limited to its savings accounts, but also extends to the Bank’s CSR focus, which is aligned to cater to the social upliftment needs of children in the areas of Health and Education with the special attention towards orphans. Amãna Bank’s flagship CSR venture Orphan Care, which was launched in the beginning of 2019, continues to make headway and has so far benefitted over 2,500 orphan children.
