The Bourse ended on a positive note yesterday as the ASPI increased by 0.85% or 48.69 points to close at 5,794.66 points, while the S&P SL20 Index also increased by 2.51% or 70.48 points to close at 2,880.54.
Market Turnover reduced by 32.5% relative to yesterday to amount to LKR 0.74Bn while crossings for the day accounted for 7.2% of the day’s total turnover. Foreign Investors meanwhile, recorded a net outflow of Rs 84.6 million over the day compared to a net inflow of Rs 0.36 million recorded yesterday.
