Samanthi Priyadarshani of Anuradhapura Rajangane has been chosen as the best Woman entrepreneur 2020 in Anuradhapura district at a island-wide programme organized by the Sri Lanka Woman’s Bureau for appreciating most courageous Woman entrepreneur.
Samanthi received her award as the most courageous entrepreneur in Anuradhapura district at a ceremony held recently at Suhurupaya, Battharamulla, parallel to the Women’s Day Celebrations themed ‘A country, A Nation, A world, She IS’.
The Women’s Affairs Officer of the Anuradhapura District Secretariat Thakshila Ranaweera told Daly News that Samanthi has been felicitated in several occasions for her talents.
She has received two Presidential Awards and 10 national level certificates of appreciation. Samanthi has got the opportunity to represent the country to representin trade exhibitions held in China Japan etc, the District Women Affairs officer emphasized. She said that Samanthi has volunteered to train courageous prospective young women in the creation of handicrafts.
