IAAC holds fifth Convocation

The International Airline and Aviation College (IAAC) had its fifth Convocation at the Bishop’s College auditorium hall on September 15, under strict health precautionary measures. State Minister of Aviation and Export Zones Development D.V. Chanaka graced the occasion as chief guest and gave away the awards along with professionals and personalities from the aviation industry.

The ceremony was organized to felicitate over a 100 students who obtained Diplomas in four key subjects, Ground Operations, Cargo and Logistics, Ticketing and Reservations, Cabin Crew.

IAAC was inaugurated in 2015 as a premier aviation school in the heart of Colombo offering curricula in aviation to the Youth Island wide. With the inclusion of some veteran teachers and trainers who possess over three decades of experience in the industry.

IAAC is in the forefront playing a pivotal role in producing the globe’s Next Generation of Aviation Professionals (NGAP). NGAP is a project already underway under the purview of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to cater the future demands in the aviation industry. In a view of covering the young aspirants from the North, IAAC had ZOOM connectivity of all its tutorials in Jaffna.

IAAC has trained over 1000 students from all over the island since its inception. They hope to expand their educational vistas in the near future, in order to provide even better prospects to every Sri Lankan locally and internationally.
