CCC hosts SL Economic Summit

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will be organizing the 20th Sri Lanka Economic Summit (SLES) on December 1-2, at the Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo.

The Sri Lanka Economic Summit 2020, the premier economic forum, this year too will have a lineup of timely plenary discussions under the theme ‘Roadmap for Take-Off: Driving a People-Centric Economic Revival’.

The discussion will explore how Sri Lanka’s private sector can be competitive and agile locally and globally in response to COVID-19 and how firms can aim to create new job opportunities as part of the economic recovery.

The presenters at this plenary will include Harsha Basnayake Deputy Area Managing Partner, EY Asia-Pacific and Prabhash Subasinghe Chairman, Sri Lanka Export Development Board.

Thereafter the presenters will be joined by Pravir Samarasinghe Group Director and Chief Executive Officer Overseas Realty (Ceylon) PLC, Hajar Alafifi Chairperson, Unilever Sri Lanka Ltd, Sanjaya Mohottala Director General, Board of Investment Sri Lanka for a panel discussion moderated by Kasturi Chellaraja Wilson, Group CEO, Hemas Holdings PLC.
