In a bid to offer guests an additional experience to dining, an outlet of the much sought after Senani Gem too was opened along with a mini handicraft center on the ground floor.
Chairman Managing Director, OrkRay Holdings Sujeewa Palliyaguruge said that they are making plans to increase their foot print in the restaurant segment and would be opening Oak Ray Flower Drum Restaurant in Kandy city, at the end of this year. “In addition we will also reinvest in Oak Ray Flower Drum Restaurant, Colombo 7.”
Director Hospitably, OrkRay Hotels and Resorts Eashan Pathirana said that since the take over five years ago the management has refurbished the property and increased guest areas to offer more dining capacity for guests. In addition, a mini banquet hall was created to host private functions.
He said the Oak Ray Flower Drum Restaurant, Colombo 3 would be officially celebrating their fifth year celebration on Friday (11) with several ‘special offers’ for both lunch, dinner and take away.
Five Hotel stay vouchers to be awarded to 5 lucky winners on the main event on September 11. Winners would be chosen randomly from the patrons.
In addition several other promotions, discounts and offers await customers who dine on Friday 11. The ‘VIP 10 Guest table offer’ includes free spirits while other table offers include free desserts. In addition, a host of new menus would be offered.
In addition for the take away segment, 10 Dining vouchers will be given away to lucky customers who order the maximum amount of lunch packets until further notice. Five ‘Hotel Stay’ vouchers on a Bed and Breakfast basis will be presented to lucky customers who order the maximum amount of lunch packets on each day.
